WIDE AREA ADDRESS SOLUTION PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for wide area address solution processing without use of expensive wide area address solution server and having provision for requirements of high quality communication at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the case of making communication between terminal equipments belonging to different sub nets in existence on an internet built up by using a single non-multiple address communication wide area network, when an address of a non-multiple address communication wide area network of a router 4 or 5 or a destination terminal equipment 7 is directly solved from an internet address of the router 4 or 5 or the destination terminal equipment 7 based on a request from a sender terminal equipment 6 or the router 4 or 5, an address solution request packet sent from the sender terminal equipment 6 or the router is transferred to the router 4 or 5 or a destination terminal equipment 7 by using the router. The router or the destination terminal equipment 7 conducts address solution processing based on it and an address solution reply packet sent from the destination terminal equipment 7 or the router is sent back to the sender terminal equipment or the router by using the relay router.
