PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an easy connection of a drive shaft and a driven shaft at an arbitrary position in a circumferential direction by grasping the driven shaft with a grasping member which is decreased in diameter with slide means and sliding the slide means. SOLUTION: A driven shaft U is grasped with a friction force of a grasping member 11 which is reduced in diameter in an axial direction of the driven shaft U with a taper surface 11a along this taper surface 9a by sliding a taper ring 9 which is provided in a coupling case 1 and has a taper surface 9a in an axial direction with a spring force of a pressure spring 4. In this manner, since the taper ring 9 which slides with the spring force of the pressure spring 4 reduces the diameter of the grasping member 11 to grab the driven shaft U, the coupling device R1 and the driven shaft U can be connected by only allowing the spring force of the pressure spring 4 to act in an axial direction. |
