PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the connection of signals with high durability by transmitting the image, voice, device control signals, etc., by means of the optical signals between an input/output device and an input/output signal processor where the input/output device can be attached and detached. SOLUTION: A system control part 10 of an image pickup/display device 1 and a modulation/demodulation part 51 of an infrared transmitting/receiving part 50 are connected to a system control part 60 of an image transmitting device 2 and a modulation/demodulation part 83 of an infrared transmitting/ receiving part 80 respectively. In an output system, the video signals inputted to the part 51 are modulated into the transmitting signals by the infrared rays and sent to the device 2 by an infrared light emitting element 53. In an input system, the modulated signals sent from the device 2 are received by an infrared light emitting element 54. Then the modulated signals are converted into the electric signals at a light receiving part 55 and demodulated into the original video signals at the part 51. |
