PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make components of the element small in size and light in weight while realizing a broad frequency band for its attenuation characteristic and to reduce the cost by adding a resistor between a center electrode section and ground. SOLUTION: A center electrode section 5 of a lumped constant type isolator 1 is so structured that three 1st-3rd center conductors L1-L3 acting like inductive components are arranged in crossing at an angular interval of 120 deg. on a discoid ferrite disk 8 while being isolated electrically with each other. The center electrode section 5 and capacitor electrodes C1-C3 of ports P1-P3 are formed on same potential and a resistor 15 is added between the center electrode section 5 and ground, then a broad frequency band is realized for the attenuation characteristic. Thus, a reflected wave is surely absorbed and intrusion of an undesired wave is prevented. That is, since the isolator is operated at a region where a change in a permeabilityμ' of a ferrite with respect to a frequency HZ is small through the addition of the resistor, the band width is extended by that.
