摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation precision with simple constitution without increasing a circuit scale by substituting a reciprocal table against a large division value for the reciprocal table of the small division value. SOLUTION: In an address operation circuit 1, the magnitude of the division value X against a prescribed value 2a is judged. When it is larger, the division value X is outputted as a reciprocal table address A. When it is smaller, the division value X is shifted to a high-order side by a-bit and the reciprocal table address A is outputted. When a division value (k) is k<2a, a division intermediate result DM which a multiplication circuit 3 outputs becomes data of j+m bits, which has the decimal part of j+m bits, and a selector 4 becomes data of j+m+s bits, which has the decimal part of m+s bits. When the division value (k) is k>=2a, the result becomes data of j+m bits, which has the decimal part of j+s bits, and the selector becomes data of j+m+s bits, which has the decimal part of m+s bits.
