PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a modified urethane resin composition excellent in adhesion to a nonpolar material and properties of solution and coated membrane and soluble in a solvent. SOLUTION: This modified urethane resin composition soluble in an organic solvent is obtained by polymerizing 5-70wt.% radically polymerizable monomer in the presence of 95-30wt.% urethane resin obtained by reacting an organic diisocyanate with a high molecular polyol, a double bond containing compound having 2 or more active hydrogen and a radically polymerizable double bond in the same molecule and optionally a chain extension agent, having 1-200μeq/g radically polymerizable double bond and 10,000-200,000 weight averaged molecular weight and containing a radically polymerizable double bond.
