The handlebar has a cross bar (3) connected to the bicycle frame and having a coupling at each of its forming a hinge pivot (4). Two arms (5) are pivotally mounted on each of the axes and form the handle sections (6) on their exterior sides. A spring (8) connects the arms between them. Sliding couplings (9) are interposed between the spring and the bearing pivots so that the handles have a flexibility in a preferred plane (P2) to filter the vibrations perpendicular to that containing the pivot axes for handle movement.
