FOAM IN BAG PACKAGING SYSTEM

A foam-in-place packaging system is disclosed that comprises a flexible bag (23) closed on its side edges. A frangible seal (37) defines separate interior cells (41, 42) in the bag. The frangible seal defines an interior cell when the frangible seal is broken. The cells separately contain a first and second foam precursor composition, and the bag may include means for permitting gases to vent from the bag as the foam precursors form foam. As a result, when the frangible seal is broken, the separate cells form an interior cell in which the first and second foam precursors can mix and react properly and permit the resulting foam to expand and flow within the resulting interior cell of the bag.
