PURPOSE:To avoid the damage of a tire anti-skid device body in early stages at the periphery of the portion around which fixtures are wound by providing the body with space between the end section on the side receiving compressive force from the fixture thereat and reinforcement. CONSTITUTION:A tire anti-skid device body 60 is constituted in such a way that reinforcing cord 100 is buried in a net-like formed rubber member. External frame sections 60A and 60C to which fixtures 62 and joint hooks 65 are to be fixed are formed with a slotted hole-like grooves 102 extending in the longitudinal direction of the body 60 and opening to the side touching a road surface of the body 60. With a titled device secured to a tire, tensile force acts on fixtures 62 and 66 and joint hooks 65 and 68, and as a result, the inside surfaces 104 of the external frame sections 60A and 60C of the body 60 are compressed. Since being absorbed in the groove 102, this compressive force becomes difficult to extend to portions other than the external frame sections 60A and 60C along the longitudinal direction of the body 60, the body 60 is prevented from being damaged at early stages. |
