PURPOSE:To ensure satisfactory sensitivity to light having long wavelength such as semiconductor laser light and to increase potential stability during repeated use by using a phthalocyanine pigment, a specified sensitizer and a specified electric charge transferring material in combination. CONSTITUTION:A phthalocyanine pigment, one or more kinds of sensitizers and a hydrazone compd. represented by formula IV as an electric charge transferring material are incorporated into the photoconductive layer of the sensitive body. The sensitizers may be selected among (thio)urea compd. represented by formula I, (thio)amido compds. represented by formula II and (thio)barbituric acid compds. represented by formula III. In the formulae I-IV, Z is S or O, each of R<1>-R<4> is H, alkyl, etc., R<8> is alkyl, alkoxy, etc., each of R<9> and R<10> is alkyl, aryl, etc., R<11> is H, alkyl, etc., each of R<12> and R<13> is alkyl, aralkyl, etc., R<14> is H, alkyl, etc., each of Ar1 and Ar2 is arom. hydrocarbon or a hetero ring and n is 0 or 1. |
