<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a deodorizing filter excellent in deodorizing capacity and air permeability by mixing a chain like magnesium silicate fine powder with a mixed aqueous soln. of a metal salt and hydrazine to prepare a slurry and molding this slurry under pressure and drying and solidifying the molded one at predetermined temp. or lower. CONSTITUTION:A chain like magnesium silicate fine powder and a mixed aqueous soln. of a metal salt and hydrazine are mixed to prepare a slurry which is, in turn, molded under pressure and the molded one is dried and solidified at 150 deg.C or lower. In this case, the drying temp. varies according to the shape of the molded one but it is improper that the drying temp. exceeds 150 deg.C because a crack is generated. When the drying temp. is lowered, a drying time is extended but can be shortened by passing air through the molded one. The lower limit of the drying time is pref. set to room temp. or higher. By this method, a deodorizing filter high in CH3CHO removing capacity and NH3 removing capacity can efficiently be produced.</p> |
