PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens for spectacles which can cut UV rays to up 400nm wavelength and does not produce cracks in an antireflection film by irradiation of UV rays even when the lens is used in an outdoor field for a long time. SOLUTION: The lens substrate and/or a hard coating layer formed on the substrate contains one or more kinds of UV absorbents selected from benzophenone UV absorbents, benzotriazole UV absorbents, cyanoacrylate UV absorbents and steric hindrance amine UV absorbents. The lens has a multilayered antireflection film containing a titanium dioxide layer of specified thickness or more formed on the hard coating layer. |
