PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a wiring system with its obtained good characteristics by allowing the cable length to be odd-number multiple of the length of 1/4 of the wave length against the basic frequency of transmission signals and displaying the basic frequency and use at the connection member. SOLUTION: For example, the length of a cable C of which a connection member M1 of modular type and a modular plug M2 are provided on both ends is odd-number multiple of the length of 1/4 of wave lengthλagainst the basic frequency of a signal to be transmitted. Thereby, since the phase of a reflection wave is just offset, the reflection loss is reduced, therefore, better signal transmission characteristics can be obtained. In addition, at least one of the type (use) of the signal to be transmitted and of the basic frequency is displayed on the connection member M1 . This display may be applied to the external coat of the cable C. Further, if plural different signals of the basic frequency are transmitted, the length of the cable C is 1/4 of the wave length against each signal and may be set to a common length.
