<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag for an air bag device capable of inhibiting the travel speed of an upper site having a longer tether in inflation and of easier entering between a steering wheel and an occupant. SOLUTION: In an air bag 11, the peripheral edge of a gas inlet 12a is used as an installing and fixing part 12b in a bag shape. Tether 15, 18 for controlling the shape in inflation are interposed at spaced upper and lower intervals with the gas inlet 12a located between them. A tack part 16 formed of breakable sewing yarn 17 is provided so that the upper tether 15 may be longer than the lower tether 18 and may have almost the same length as that of the lower tether 18 in the course of inflating the air bag 11.</p> |
