PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fix guide bars to side walks, by protruding a fixing axis for sidewalk blocks at every appropriate longitudinal distance at the bottom face of a long size molding swelled at the upper face and flattened at the bot tom face. SOLUTION: Guide bars 3 for conducting visually handicapped pedestrians are formed to swell arcuately the upper face and flatten the bottom face and provided with fixing axes 4 protruded to sidewalk blocks 2 at every appropriate longitudinal distance of the bar at the bottom face. The bar 3 is made hollow or solid in accordance with requirements and formed of a metal or a synthetic resin. When the bars are fitted to the blocks 2 in an approach part of a pedestrian crossing, a platform of a subway or the like, or blocks 2 fro an ascending/ descending entrance of stairs, the fixing axes 4 are inserted in recesses 5 formed in advance in the blocks 2 and an adhesive 6 is charged therein. In this way, the guide bars can be easily fitted and also the conducting sidewalk face can be easily formed. |
