<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove and recover dust contained in air and to remove and decompose harmful gas by installing a honeycomb electrode constituted of a porous body containing a catalyst and also providing a housing case in which a ventilation opening for discharging an ionic wind to the outside is formed. SOLUTION: When a power switch 31 is turned on, corona discharge is generated between a honeycomb electrode 10 and a discharge electrode 20, and by this, air around both the electrodes is negatively ionized. Then, this air enters cells 11 of the honeycomb electrode 10 together with neutral air, and a part of the negatively ionized air receives an electric charge of the honeycomb electrode 10 and is neutralized. An ionic wind A formed at this time flows to the discharge electrode 20 and the honeycomb electrode 10 and passes through the cells 11 and blows out to the outside from a ventilation opening 411. Fresh air is taken in through a ventilation opening 412 by such a flow of the ionic wind A, but dust in air is recovered by a filter 50 installed in the ventilation opening 412.</p> |
