<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable opening or closing of a suction opening of a suction grill while enabling an adjustment of an air flow such that an air sucked through the suction opening comes into contact with an entire surface of a heat exchanger uniformly. SOLUTION: This opening and closing device of a suction grill for an air conditioning apparatus comprises a suction grill frame 170 which is fixedly secured to a front surface of a cabinet, a slide link 180 which is slidably supported by both sides of the suction grill frame 170, a plurality of blades 190 which are rotatably supported relative to the suction grill frame 170 and the slide link 180, and a drive means 195 for sliding the slide link 180. The blades 195 are rotated to take a desired inclined angle corresponding to sliding of the slide link 180 so as to induce an air toward a heat exchanger of an air conditioning apparatus. Furtheremore, these blades 90 can be rotated respectively to take different inclined angles.</p> |
