The procedure for collecting data from a number of non-wired sensors includes allocation, at each sensor, of a daily timetable for data transmission which is unique and personal to that particular sensor. Local time data is acquired, and reference time data is acquired and at predetermined times the difference between these time values is checked and the local time data is corrected. At prescribed times, a signal representative of the detected value is transmitted to a central station. By the action of synchronising the local and reference time information, the risk of a collision of data is avoided.
