PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and simply produce a cross section profile molded object by holding a sheet molding compd. for low temp. and low pressure molding to specific temp. and successively shaping the heated compd. into the cross section profile molded object while thermally curing the same so that a cross-sectional shape is changed from a simple shape to a complicated shape by using a plurality of rolls. SOLUTION: A sheet molding compd. (SMC) 2 for low temp. and low pressure molding is held to 50-160V to be shaped into a cross section profile molded object while thermally cured so that a crosssectional shape is changed from a simple shape to a complicated shape by a plurality of rolls 5, 6, 7, 8. At a time of production, SMC 2 for low temp. and low pressure molding is unwound from an unwinding roll 1 and slit by a slitter 3 while held, for example, to temp. of 90 deg.C and passed through a plane shaping heating roll group 5 and a side surface shaping heating roll group 6 while cured and the cross section of the SMC is shaped into a circular shape by a three-dimensional shaping heating roll group and both end parts of the SMC are sealed by a seal device 9 and a pipe-shaped product is obtained by a final shaping heating roll group 8. |
