PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the ink at the tip part of a ball pen refill from drying out or from leaking out by a method wherein a connecting part connecting between a tip part, the diameter or which is smaller than that of an ink quiding hole, and a core part, the diameter of which is large than that of the ink guiding hole, is made into a tapered surface in a ball pressing part. SOLUTION: An ink reservoir 1 consists of a fine diameter part 1c having a tip hole 1a, into which a ball pen tip 5 is fitted, a medium diameter part 1e, the front end face of which acts as a spring retaining seat 1d in the case of a push-button type ball pen, and a large diameter part 1f, to the rear end opening pat 1b of which a tail plug 4, is fixed, and is made by forming metal or synthetic resin. Further, in the case of a cap type ball pen, the front end face of the large diameter part 1f is struck against the engaging stepped part of a shaft tube by providing a groove 1g at the front end face of the large diameter part 1f or a projecting part stretching out from the large diameter part to the medium diameter part. Furthermore, since the above-mentioned structure forms the escape passage of the air in a cap, which is compressed when the cap is fitted, this refill is so constituted as to be employed for both the push-button type and the cap type ball pens. |
