PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the irregularity of the hardness of a friction material by providing a plurality of cavities same in shape for molding a friction material to a mold and opposing one side parts of these same shapes to the center part of the mold. SOLUTION: Two cavities 23 same in shape and molding friction materials 31 for a brake are provided in two places of the core mold 15 of a mold 14 and one side parts 24 of the respective cavities are provided in opposed relation to the center part O of the core mold 25. The other side parts 25 of the other same shapes of the respective cavities 23 are formed so as to be turned to the outside of the core mold 15. As a result, the hardness of the measuring regions 1, 2 of the upper friction material 31 among two friction materials 31 becomes almost same to that of the measuring regions 6, 5 of the lower friction material 31 and the hardness of other regions is also not different largely. |
