PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share a device without providing any special controller by identifying the device to be connected with an IC card, switching plural interfaces, judging the state at the time of connection between respective blocks and performing bidirectional reception/transmission. SOLUTION: When an IC card 7 is inserted at a digital image processing system corresponding to a camera, for example, it is automatically identified by a connected device identifying mechanism provided in the IC card 7 whether the IC card is connected to a personal computer 9 or connected to a host 11, data are read from a memory 5 inside the IC card 7 and connection conditions are set so that the digital image processing can be performed to the connected device. Besides, since the interface between the respective blocks becomes a bidirectional parallel interface with which the contents of a signal line can be changed corresponding to the state of connection at that time, it is not necessary to perform any special control by providing a hardware/software, and the device can be shared. |
