PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an optical system part from staining with the developer to be scattered when a developing device is fitted by opening/closing a shielding member in a synchronous manner with the prescribed action after the developing device is fitted to a recording device body. SOLUTION: When a printer is in the waiting mode or a stop mode, a solenoid is not excited, and a shutter 1 is at the position indicated by the solid line. In this condition, an optical system is separated, and the optical system is not stained with the toner or the like. As soon as the print signal is inputted, the printing operation is started, and a main motor as a driving means to drive a photosensitive body drum 10 is started, the shutter 1 is opened. During the printing operation, the shutter 1 is kept open, and when every printing is completed, and the main motor is stopped, the shutter 1 is also shut. Staining of the optical system with the toner, etc., is limited only during the printing. A returning mirror 4 and the optical system can be more prevented from staining than the conventional system. |
