<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To revise flexibly number of input and output lines depending on demand of traffic by providing an input side discrimination means making reception propriety discrimination of a call connection request according to the request through the monitor of an operating state of a common bus to an input line adaptor section. SOLUTION: The ATM switch is made up of an input line adaptor section I1 , a common bus 20 and an output line adaptor section O1 . A monitor 1 monitoring the operating state of the common bus 20 and a CAC controller 2 discriminating the call connection propriety are arranged to the input line adaptor section I1 . A monitor controller 3 monitoring the operating state of the outgoing line and discriminating the call connection priority is arranged to the output line adaptor section O1 . Since the adaptor sections I1 , O2 conduct automonously and distributingly each call reception control, even when number of adaptor sections I1 , Oj (i, j=1, 2,...) connecting to the common bus 20 is changed, the communication quality is satisfied. Thus, number of contained lines is simply revised by having only to extend the adaptor sections Ii , Oj .</p> |
