A data processing unit and a method thereof are provided to reduce the power consumption and improve the process speed by requesting outer process when the data exists in outside only. A storage stores whether the data which the external processor requests is stored in the cache memory of the external processor or not(S10). If the requested data does not exist in the cache memory of the external processor based on the stored information(S20), the data processor requests the requested data to the main memory(S30). |
