PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately analyze a natural language by placing a unit phenome non expression corresponding to an input sentence on the knowledge of a world model by setting its state and achievement level as a key. SOLUTION: When the input sentence 1 is supplied, a process for placing the semantic contents of the input sentence 1 on the world model described in specific format is performed. In principle, the input sentence 1 is placed by regarding paragraphs as unit. A predicate is given an semantic origin corresponding to the class of the phenomenon that the predicate expresses. By semantic origins of phenomena, a group of attributes prescribing the phenomena of the class is defined. When there is no phenomenon corresponding to the phenomenon that the paragraph asserts in the context, relative phenomenon knowledge regarding the phenomenon is retrieved. Once the knowledge 2 is retrieved, the knowledge 2 is placed in the context and the meaning expression of the paragraph is arranged in the context at the position of the phenomenon that the paragraph asserts. Thus, the unit phenomenon expression corresponding to the input sentence 1 is placed on the knowledge of the world model by using the state and achievement level as a key. |
