PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give the relation of roller thickness and concaved amount securing the carrying property and the fixation of a thin fixing roller to the fixing roller. SOLUTION: When the thickness of the end parts of the concaved-surface fixing roller 1 is defined as (t) and the concaved amount (D0 -D1 ) is defined asσ, they are regulated so as to be the relation of (t)<=0.8(mm) and a <=0.1×t(mm). Thus, the difference of the thickness between the central part and the end parts of the roller 1 can be suppressed to be 5%. As the result, the variance of the fixation is reduced and the stable carrying property is obtained. Simultaneously, the required concaved amount is secured so that the excellent carrying property including the prevention of wrinkle is maintained.
