PURPOSE: To prevent a next received paper money(PM) from being fed in by mistake by providing a PM managing means which presses the PM against a taking-in side and supports and manages it when money reception is not specified for the PM inserted into a money reception slot for a specific time. CONSTITUTION: When the certain time is elapsed without the depression of a money reception start key for PMs after the PMs are inserted into the money reception slot 12, it is decided that the user forgot to press the start key for the PMs left in the money reception slot 12 and the PMs are pressed against the taking-in side through a pressing mechanism 23 and all managed together. Even if the user tries to feed next received PMs while the PMs are left in the money reception slot 12 without the depression of the start key, the spiral spring 29 of the pressing mechanism 23 is positioned in the closure state wherein the opening part of the money reception slot 12 is closed. Consequently, next received PMs are prevented from being fed in by mistake. |
