PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed the outside air into boots an prevent the boots from being set to a negative pressure by covering a cable with the boots on the inside and outside of a ship, and providing a communicating means communicating the inside and outside of the boots. SOLUTION: A forward/reverse operation cable 4 is inserted into a cable case 5 inserted into a transom 2 at the penetration portion of the transom 2. The cable 4 is covered with a bellows-like inside boot 6 constituted of an elastic material made of rubber or a synthetic resin on the inside of a ship, and it is likewise covered with a bellows-like outside boot 7 constituted of the elastic material made of rubber or the synthetic resin on the outside of the ship. The inside boot 6 and the outside boot 7 are communicated by a cable case 5. The outside air can be prevented from flowing into the inside and outside boots 6, 7 to set the inside of the boots 6, 7 to a negative pressure. |
