摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number and weight of batteries and reduce the battery cost accordingly by boosting the battery voltage to the voltage corresponding to the auxiliary force requested from an auxiliary force control means, smoothing the boosted voltage, and feeding it to an electric motor. SOLUTION: A power feeder 64 is provided with a 12V-lead acid battery 68, a DC-DC switching power source serving as a boosting means boosting the battery voltage to the voltage corresponding to the required auxiliary force, and an electric double-layer capacitor 91 serving as a smoothing means feeding the DC current to an electric motor 44. The DC-DC switching power source is constituted of an L-C boosting circuit 82 and a boosted voltage instructing circuit 83, and the boosting circuit 82 boosts the input voltage and outputs it based on the voltage instruction signal (a) inputted from a controller 54 via the boosted voltage instructing circuit 83. Only one 12V-battery is enough for the power feeder 64, it is made lightweight, and the cost including the replacing cost can be reduced.
