<p>A method for conditioning fabric materials by conferring a pleasant feel and good hydrophilic properties thereto as well as preventing yellowing thereof, wherein the fabric materials are contacted with a composition including at least one linear, cyclic or three-dimensional polyorganosiloxane. The polyorganosiloxane includes identical or different units of general formula (I), wherein (1) a is 0, 1, 2 or 3, b is 0, 1, 2 or 3, c is 0, 1, 2 or 3, and a+b+c≤3, (2) the R symbols are monovalent hydrocarbon radicals, (3) the X symbols are identical and/or different functional residues and represent a polyether of formula (CH2)n-(OCH2CH2)α(OCH2CHCH3)β-OR2, and (4) the V symbols are identical and/or different functional residues and represent a residue with one or more sterically hindered piperidinyl groups.</p> |
