<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with re-setting of the time information on a portable information device body whenever a main battery which is a power supply of the body is replaced even when an auxiliary battery to continue the timer action in a portable information device having the clock function. SOLUTION: A portable information device 10 comprises a portable information device body 1 having the timer function, a power supply part 3 which can be separated from the information device body 1 and has a secondary battery as its power supply, and a charger 2 to charge the power supply part which is separately provided from the information device body 1, the charger 2 is provided with a clock part 2a capable of setting the time, the time information of the clock part 2a is transmitted to the power supply part 3 when the power supply part 3 is charged by the charger 2, the time information updated by the power supply part 3 is transmitted to the information device body 1 when the power supply part 3 is fitted to the information device body 1, and then, the time updating is continued by the information device body 1.</p> |
