<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable clearly hearing with a simple configuration a speech for guidance and information irrespective of main speech volume outputted from a speaker of a device. SOLUTION: A speech synthesis circuit of this embodiment is used by being incorporated in a video device like TV, etc., or a stereo, etc., and comprises a first and second synthesis parts 6 and 7 which synthesize two speech input signals additively. The first synthesis part 6 additively synthesizes a main speech signal S1 and a speech signal S2 for guidance and information, and outputs a first synthesized signal S3. A volume adjusting part 8 adjusts the volume of the first synthesized speech signal S3 and outputs it as an adjusted and synthesized speech signal S4. Also, the second synthesis part 7 additively synthesizes the adjusted and synthesized speech signal S4 and the speech signal for guidance and information S2, and outputs a second synthesized speech signal S5.</p> |
