PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to radiate light in parallel with a circuit substrate by a method wherein the lead out direction of the lead frame for the current supply is at right angle to a vertical optical axis from a light emitting element, and the edge face on the side where the light radiated from the light emitting element is inclined to the optical axis on the mirror face. SOLUTION: A mirror face 10 is formed in front of a light emitting element 2, as an optically flat surface at least inclined to the optical axis. By forming a reflection surface 11, where an oxide layer consisting of a metal thin film or an oxide layer consisting at least of a layer, on the mirror face 10, the light emitted from the light emitting element 2 is effectively reflected on the reflection surface 11, and light path is changed by having the light passing through a radiation surface 12 and radiated to outside. The lead frames 5 and 7 taken out from a light emitting diode 1 are extended to the back side of transparent resin 9 by bending the lead frames 5 and 7 twice at a right angle to the opposite side of the mounting direction of the light emitting element. the light can be radiated in parallel with the circuit substrate. |
