PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator using a piezoelectric body which can be actually used in a portable equipment, etc., by finding out the conditions for generating power with high efficiency. SOLUTION: A charging efficiency ν at the time of charging by free vibration of a vibrator which has a piezoelectric body can be obtained as a change to the voltage ratio Vk of the initial value Vof of the open voltage of a generator to the input-side specified voltage Ve of a power system. When the voltage ratio Vk is between about 2 and 20, a high generating efficiency can be obtained. Especially, when the voltage ratio Vk is in the range between 4 and 6, the generating efficiency is highest. By satisfying this condition, a generator which can be actually used in a portable equipment and which is small in size and have a high efficiency can be obtained. |
