<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sticking of ink on projecting parts, to improve the spread of the ink in recessed parts and to obviate the occurrence decoloration by forming the projecting parts and the recessed parts segmented by the same on a glass base material and subjecting the projecting parts to an ink repellent treatment, and removing the ink-repulsive property from parts other than the recessed part. SOLUTION: The projecting parts 2 to which an adequate ink repulsive property is previously imparted are formed atop a substrate 1. The recessed parts 3 segmented by these projecting parts 2 is made hydrophilic by an etching treatment and thereafter, colored ink is sprayed by an ink jet system thereto to form colored layers 6, by which the color filters are formed. The projecting parts 2 and the recessed parts 3 are disposed by the required number. For example, three pieces of the color filters of R, G, B are necessary for each one pixel if 640 pixels are required in the case of the color filters of stripe shape and, therefore, 1921 pieces of the projecting parts and 1920 pieces of the recessed parts are eventually required. In the case of the mosaic type filters, the circumferences of the pixels are enclosed by the projecting parts.</p> |
