The connector (19) has at least one elastic tongue (13) which gives way when the connector is pushed into an opening (11) in the wall (10). Once the connector has reached its end position, the tongues snap back and prevent the connector's egress. An unlatching block (29) is attached to each tongue and can lower the tongue beyond the opening's edge (16), allowing the connector to be pulled out. The connector is formed as a tooth (20) attached to the component (12) at one end (21). The tongue lies at the other end (22), and has a clearance (A) with the tooth. The tongue is narrower than the tooth.
