PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can give a sheet excellent in transparency, rigidity and moistureproofness by heat-decomposing a mixture comprising a specified polypropylene and a petroleum-derived resin composition in the presence of an organic peroxide and mixing the product with additives such as talc. CONSTITUTION:A polypropylene composition prepared by heat-decomposing a composition comprising 70-95 pts.wt. polypropylene and 30-5 pts.wt. aliphatic or alicyclic petroleum-derived resin in the presence of an organic peroxide is mixed with 0.5-10000 wt.ppm of at least one member selected from among talc, an organic carboxylic acid or its salt, a metal salt of an organic phosphoric acid, a polyvinylcycloalkane and a dibenzylidenesorbitol derivative of the formula wherein Rs are 1-8 C alkyl, halogen or 1-4 c alkoxyl and may be the same as or different from each other in the same compound; and m and n are each an integer of 0-3). The obtained polypropylene composition is extruded into a PP sheet. |
