PURPOSE:To ensure easy and secure fitting of a decorative piece to a clip for a writing implement without any limitation of the material of the clip, by inserting a guide part of the decorative piece into a small fitting hole and a large fitting hole provided in the clip, drawing out the guide part to fasten an expanded part of the decorative piece to a fastening stepped part of the large fitting hole, and then cutting off the guide part from the expanded part. CONSTITUTION:At the time of fitting a decorative piece A to a clip B for a writing implement, guide parts 4 on the back side of the decorative piece 1 are inserted into small fitting holes 6 and large fitting holes 7, and are drawn in the direction of arrows. Expanded parts 2 are immediately brought into collision with fastening stepped parts 8 provided at upper parts of the holes 7. Since the expanded parts 2 have appropriate elasticity, however, further strong pulling of the guide parts 4 cause the expanded parts 2 to contract in diameter and pass through the fastening stepped parts 8 of the holes 7, after which the expanded parts 2 are restored to the initial shape thereof, whereby the parts 2 are fastened to the stepped parts 8. Next, the guide parts 4 protruding from the expanded parts 2 are cut off by a cutter or the like, whereby the desired clip for the writing implement can be obtained. |
