Modular contiguous output multiplexer

The multiplexer includes at least two multi-channel contiguous multiplexes for respectively outputting high and low contiguous ranges of passband frequencies. A diplexer receives the contiguous high and low ranges of passband frequencies and includes a HF passband filter, with high attenuation at the highest frequency of the range of low passband frequencies. A LF passband filter has high attenuation at the lowest frequency of the range of high passband frequencies. A spur free directional filter is provided for receiving the output of the diplexer and providing a multi-channel contiguous output. The HF range multiplexer comprises e.g. a hybrid directional and manifold type multiplexer. The multiplexer has 12 channels and outputs passband frequencies in the range from 3.7 GHz to 3.62 GHz.
