摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain good video characteristics and audio characteristics by incorporating specified vinyl chloride copolymers as binders into first and second magnetic layers provided on a nonmagnetic supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The first and second magnetic layers containing ferromagnetic powder dispersed in binders are successively formed on a nonmagnetic supporting body. As for the binder of the first magnetic layer, amine-modified vinyl chloride copolymer is incorporated. As for the binder of the second magnetic layer, vinyl chloride copolymer containing at least one of polar groups of -OH group, epoxy group, -COOM, -SO3M, -OSO3M, -PO3M2, -OPO3M2 (wherein M is hydrogen, alkali metal or ammonium) is incorporated. By using the amine- modified vinyl chloride copolymer as the binder of the first magnetic layer, the binder adsorbs to the ferromagnetic powder to improve dispersibility and packing property. It is preferable that the amt. of the polar groups of the vinyl chloride resin in the second magnetic layer does not exceed the specified amt.
