PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a fiber formed product, having excellent hygroscopicity, excellent in air and moisture permeabilities and having characteristics of hardly causing the permanently set in fatigue in spite of the whole softness and provide a method for producing the fiber formed product. SOLUTION: This fiber formed product is formed by mixing conjugated fibers A with B at (80/20) to (40/60) weight ratio of the fibers A/B and partially bonding the mutual fibers. The conjugated fibers A are prepared by copolymerizing a hydrophilic compound I with other components and compounding the resultant copolymer with a copolyester comprising a polar group-containing compound II and/or a cross-linking agent III. The conjugated fibers B are obtained by compounding a polyester X with a polyester Y having a lower melting point than those of all the polyester X and compounded components of the conjugated fibers A so as to expose the polyester Y to the surfaces thereof. Mixed fibers of the conjugated fibers A with B are blown into an air-permeable frame mold, filled in a state of 0.02-0.1g/cm<3> density therein and heated to partially bond interstices among the mutual conjugated fibers A and B and the interstices among the mutual conjugated fibers B. Thereby, the fiber formed product is obtained. |
