PURPOSE:To produce an optical fiber with parabolic refractive index distribution simply and in a short time, by means of forming a glass fine grain bar on a glass tube of which one edge is sealed by dropping and cumulating fine grains of glasses which possesses the refractive index being quantized of the parabolic distribution into n steps. |
