The wheeled (2) casing (1), with single spherical roller (3), has a combined air and steam hose connection (4). Dust-laden air drawn in (23) from the cleaning head by the motor-driven (19) fan (18) is humidified in an entry duct (22) by a pipe (24) originating below water level in a removable receiving tank. A lid baffle (25) creates turbulent flow, causing dust and water particles to fall into the tank. The cleaned dried air (26) is discharged (27) through the fan (18). A small electrically heated plastic boiler (12), fed from the tank with a weakened blow-out safety section and electrically controlled output valve, provides steam directly to the head, or injects it into directly pumped water. Water and steam sprays and suction are controlled by push-buttons in the head.
