PURPOSE:To shorten recording time based on property of time necessary for fixing unnecessary coloring component to be carried out and for making it uncolored by fixing process. CONSTITUTION:When fixing is to be done after a coloring is performed by the n-th scanning recording, the coloring layer is irradiated with light for fixing. By this light irradiation, fixation of unnecessary coloring component of the coloring layer corresponding to the n-th recording is performed firstly. At the same time, uncoloring is performed for preventing coloring of ground (particularly white parts around the image) to be generated due to change with time. There is a difference between the time for fixing the unnecessary coloring component and the time for uncoloring it. Firstly, the fixation of the unnecessary coloring component is component is completed. When the fixation of the unnecessary coloring component is completed, the coloring layer corresponding to the n-th recording is restrained from coloring, so that the n-th fixation (the time when uncoloring time ends) can be performed after a start of the (n+1)-th scanning recording, and the waiting for the completion of the n-th fixation will be unnecessary. |
