PURPOSE:To improve a feeling of start, speed change, etc. by determining a half-clutch position only when a deceleration condition of transmission input shaft speed, after a clutch is completely disconnected, is within a reference range set corresponding to a temperature of oil. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU 31 decides a vehicle to be placed in a stop condition by a car speed sensor 11 and an automatic transmission 3 to be placed in a neutral position by a forward-reverse detecting sensor 20, deceleration of a rotating condition of an input shaft 3a in the transmission 3, after its clutch 2 is completely disconnected, is measured by a speed sensor 13. Only when a deceleration condition, having a correlation to a temperature of transmission oil, is in a predetermined reference range, a half-clutch position is determined through a driving circuit 23, actuator 6 and a stroke detecting sensor 15, while when the deceleration condition is out of the reference range, the half-clutch position is not determined. Thus performing a stable half-clutch control preventing an excessive clutch connection quantity in the time of low oil temperature and an insufficient connection quantity in the time of high oil temperature, the improvement of feeling of start, speed change, etc. can be promoted. |
