ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner having good storage property against heat, both of low fixing property and offset resistance and a wide fixing temp. range. SOLUTION: A material prepared by adding a petroleum resin with addition of water to a resin containing 5-50wt.% tetrahydrofuran-insoluble component is used for the resin component of this toner. Moreover, the amt. of the tetrahydrofuran-insoluble component in the toner is specified to 1 to 20wt.%. The amt. of the petroleum resin with addition of water is 5 to 30wt.% of the resin component in the toner.
