PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust aberration and intensity distribution even when an LD radiation angle is deviated by adjusting fitting states of respective hold members of a semiconductor laser. SOLUTION: A holder 3a holds directly a semiconductor laser element LD 2 generating an information reading laser beam on its projection part. The holder 3b holds the LD 2 through a recessed part for fitting the projection part of the holder 3a. Then, the LD 2 is fixed to an optical pickup casing 1 through the holders 3a, 3b. The projection part and the recessed part of respective holders are provided with a curved surface describing an arc along the normal direction for the radiation reference surface R of the LD 2, and the recessed part is provided with a joint part formed so as to join to a part of the curved surface. Then, the fitting states of the holders 3a, 3b are adjusted along the arc. |
