JIG FOR JOINING FUSION COUPLING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent muddy water from entering between a fusion coupling and a resin pipe even when underground water springs out during a coupling work. SOLUTION: A jig 1 for joining used when a fusion coupling 7 is joined with a resin pipe 8 consists of upper and lower cylinder bodies 2 and 3 which are vertically dividably interconnected. Holding parts 21 and 31 to hold in a watertight state the resin pipes 8 on both sides and coupling containing parts 23 and 33 to contain the fusion coupling 7 between the central parts thereof are integrally arranged. An opening part 25 large enough to allow connection of connectors to the respective terminals 72 of the fusion coupling 7 is formed in the coupling containing part 23.
