The box is made from a single blank of sheet material, cut out and assembled into a box shape. The panel has a row of five squares (1 - 5) which form the main body of the box, extended at one end by a flap (6) to hold the box closed. The base is formed by four interlocking flaps (12 - 15) along the lower edges of the first four squares. The top of the box is made from a square on the upper edge of the first square (1), divided into two sections (6a, 6b) by a curved cut (6'), and an additional square (7) on the top of square (2). When the box is made up the two sections (6a, 6b) fit inside and outside the square (5) which forms part of the box body, while the additional square (7) makes the lid. which is held in place by tongues (8 - 11). The main side panels (1 5) have holes through them for a cord or ribbon.
